If i send a a/r statement to a customer and they email me back with the statement number and nothing else.how do I find a copy of the statement or even who customer is?

I'll help ensure you'll be able to get a copy of the statement you've sent to your customer, @canadacrs.

You can simply pull up the Statement List report and check/locate the statement number from there. 

Here's how:

1. Log in to your QBO account.
2. Click on Reports at the left pane.
3. Look/search for Statement List on the search field.
4. Make the necessary customization by clicking on the Customize button.
5. To customize the report's period, click on Filter and select a specific period by ticking the box beside the Statement Date section.
6. Click on Run report to refresh the report.

Once completed, look for the statement number under the Num column, and the customer's name will be reflected under the Customer column.
