Importing Journal Entries in QBO

Hi there,

 

I've been trying to import a journal entry into QBO, but I keep getting the following error: "Some journal entries couldn't be imported. The following journal entries failed with the error: 'undefined'.

 

Can anyone please help me on how to fix this? 

 

I've been using this functionality for more than 6 months and this is the first time I see this error.

Hi Kevin Quilen,

 

Welcome to Community!  Importing your journal entries in QuickBooks Online can be done seamlessly.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

I suggest reviewing your spreadsheet to ensure the fields are aligned with the sample file that's available in your QuickBooks Online account.  To review the 'sample' file, go to your Settings ⚙, select Import data, click on Journal entries and then click on the link to Download an example.  Ensure there are no blank columns or lines in your file.  In addition, I recommend clearing cache on your browser before proceeding with importing the journal entries.  If you experience the same outcome, try another browser such as Safari, Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Private or Incognito.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

I tried everything that you just said, and nothing worked.
