Is there a General Ledger template available for a corporation holding portfolio investments and reporting investment income?

Being able to use a template is a great idea to help save time and make your work more efficient. I'd be happy to go over this with you.

With QuickBooks Online there are a lot of templates that are available to help customize your work and save time. At this time there's no template that's available for the General Ledger. If you want to have the ability to use templates in QuickBooks Online I recommend sending feedback to our developers to let them know this is a feature you wish to have included. You can send feedback by following these steps:

1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

Once our developers receive the feedback they'll look into ways they could possible add it in future updates. Another option is looking into third party apps to add extra features into your QuickBooks Online account. You can find them by clicking on the Apps page on the left hand side.
