Is there a limit of number of sub accounts that we can create under a parent code? It looks like if there are too many , Quickbooks generate himself new parent account

Thanks for reaching out here.  Using sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online, is a great way, to break down income and expenses for tracking purposes.  You can create sub-accounts to better organize your chart of accounts and create associated reports with more detail.  There is no limit for creating sub-accounts in Quick Books Online.

With regards to the possible addition of new 'parent' accounts, QuickBooks Online automaticalIy adds the required accounts based on your business needs.   For example, when you subscribe to QuickBooks Online Payroll, the required accounts will be added to your chart of accounts by default.  If you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
