Hi there,

Assessing the performance of your products/services is an awesome way to make the most of your business bookkeeping software. It's so important to know which products are bringing prosperity to your business, and which ones involve larger expenses. I'd be happy to explain a few reports you can run to review the financial performance of your products.

The Profit and Loss report is an awesome way to review your income and expenses for various reporting periods. This report is also called the Income Statement. I'd be happy to explain how you can review the total sales for each of your products/services using the P&L report.

You'll want to take advantage of the customization options in order to review the sales total for each of your products. I'll explain the steps below.

1. Click the Reports tab, then select Profit & Loss

2. Click Customize

3. Select the Filter drop-down menu.

4. Check off the box next to Product/Service

5. Click the drop-down menu for Product/Service and select one of your products.

6. Click Run report

Repeat this process for each of your products, making sure to un-check the last product when you want to review a new one. The P&L report won't label the Sales total for each product you select, so you'll have to manually take note of which product you're selecting.

You can also run the Sales by Product/Service Detail report. This report shows your sales, grouped by product or service. It includes the date, transaction type, quantity, rate, amount, and total. This is a useful report to run if you're just looking for the total sales, rather than a more detailed picture of the products financial performance.

I hope this helps get you on the right track. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our tech support team.

Cheers.
