Hello userdonna-jutras,

It's great to hear that you're working with reports in QuickBooks Online. I know they're a helpful way to filter the information you've entered and give you a sense of where you stand with your books. I'd be happy to go over the report options with you.

Depending on the QuickBooks Online package you have, the A/R Aging Summary report has a few different customization options in terms of the way you can filter the data. There isn't, at this time, any way to add a memo or notes field for any subscription package. This is true whether you're looking to populate memo and notes fields from transactions or simply add a note about the report. I can see how this would be useful for you, so I recommend leaving feedback for the product development team using the following steps: How do I submit feedback?

In the meantime, if you're looking to see the memo field included on a transaction, I recommend using the A/R Aging Detail report instead. When you run that report, you can click Customize, expand the Rows/Columns section, and then click Change columns to see the options available. Check off the Memo/description option to add that to your report. You can review this article for more report options: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online

If you mean you'd like to add a memo or note to the report overall, exporting or printing the report are options you can consider. The Excel option in particular gives you greater freedom to manipulate the date you see. Here's an article that can help: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online. Both the export and print buttons can be found on the report itself beside the small gear icon.

That should get you on your way. Have a fabulous day!
