Is there any way of retrieving a customer statement that was previously sent out through QBO?

I need to see a copy of customer Statement #5428 that was sent out through QBO on June 5th. Is this possible?

Thanks for contacting us here. QuickBooks is a versatile program that helps you bring your finances into perspective. I'll be happy to share more info so you're on the right track with accomplishing your QuickBooks goals. 

 

In case the statement you're looking for has been deleted, I recommend searching again for the deleted transaction in QuickBooks using the Audit Log. This tool provides you with a list of changes/transactions that were made on your account. Using that information, you can re-create any deleted data manually in QuickBooks. Here's how to use the Audit log:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  4. If you've recently created these transactions, locate them on the Audit log screen, click on the blue link to open the transaction in question and retrieve the required info.
  5. Select Apply.

The program also gives you the flexibility to search for your transactions using the Advanced Search feature. In order to take advantage of this feature, click on the Magnifying glass at the top right of your account > once the search drop-down appears, click on the blue link that says Advanced Search > on the search filter, select the matching criteria, and specifically filter it to show the line description. After hitting Search, you'll be able to see the transactions you're looking for based on the search criteria you use.
