Issues with Chart of accounts getting out of order when Merging reports between company

Hello, 

 

We have our chart of accounts in order and numbered beautifully with these (2) QB company files of ours but for some reason when we merge reports between the two it is taking some of the expense accounts out of order?  Why is this and how to fix

It's vital that all your information is entered correctly so that your books can be well balanced. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you keep track of transactions made so that you can see your company's financials as reports. For help with how report ordering is shown after merging, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team.
