Hi there,

Working with journal entries in QuickBooks Online can help to accommodate unique accounting transactions that aren't available through other tools in QBO. I know how important it is for your accounts to balance, and I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for help with this.

If you're noticing that the journal entry you've created is showing in your Accounts Receivables, but not in the Trial Balance, make sure you're working with the same date-range in your reports or account ledger. The date range for both the A/R and TB should match.

If you've aligned the date-range and your accounts still show a different balance, I'd recommend reaching out to an accounting professional so they can take a closer look at what may be happening. If you're not yet connected to an accountant, you can connect with one in your area here:  Find a ProAdvisor

I'd also recommend reaching out to our tech support team so an agent can investigate exactly what may be happening based on your account setup.

Have a great day.
