My GST report has a reporting date from Jan1 of 2013 to December 31 '13 I don't know how to change it.

Adjusting the reporting date is an important step in being able to accurately assess your business finances. Most reports produced in QuickBooks Online allow you to easily adjust the reporting date in order to customize your data. I'd be happy to explain how you can change the date on your GST report. 

When on the report page, the date range will be displayed at the top of the page under "Reporting Period". You can select a default date-range from the drop-down menu, such as "Last Quarter", or "This Week". You can also select "Custom" from the drop-down menu. From there, click the box to enter the beginning and ending dates you'd like displayed.
