My HST/GST Detail reports no longer have any memo/description information about the transaction that was pulled from the bank. How can I get this back?

I'm happy to see you're using the full potential of QuickBooks Online's tax reporting features! Running the HST/GST Detail report frequently will help to avoid surprises when filing, and is the best way to ensure everything lines up. Being able to see the bank description on your reports is a great way to quickly identify exactly what a transaction consists of. The HST/GST Detail Report is designed to give you a complete overview of all transactions affecting your sales tax. This is done by focusing on transaction totals, rather than individual lines. When you add a transaction from the bank feed, the downloaded description is saved in the Description column for the line item. Currently, the Tax Detail Report is designed to display information from the Memo field found at the bottom of the transaction. To display information for this report, please enter it in the Memo field when adding transactions from the bank feed. Alternatively, reports breaking down transactions by line, such as the Transaction Detail by Tax Code report will display line-specific descriptions.
