+New won't activate the Journal Entry in Accountant view

Hello topgunhockey,

 

I'm sorry you are having difficulties with the journal entries, but I'm glad you reached out to the community so we can help! I"ll do my best to give you some troubleshooting pointers to get you started!

 

To assist with any inconsistencies with the software, we can try working in an incognito window in Google Chrome first and attempt +New once again to create a journal entry. 

 

If that fails for whatever reason, the browser I would try working in next in private mode would be firefox. To assist you with working in incognito and private mode in different browser types for both windows and mac operating systems, please reference the link down below:

We can also try to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Please reference the link below to assist with the steps:

I would also check your internet speed as that would be important working with cloud-based software. I found in my personal experience working plugged in with an ethernet cable vs wifi provided me with the best experience.
