Question

Over the past while, if I'm saving my Reports as pdf's, they are 8.5 x 14 (legal) rather than 8.5 x 11 (standard). Does anyone know how to change back to standard?

Hello bojopr,

It's great to have you connect with us here in the Community. QuickBooks offers the tools and the resources you need to stay on top your accounting needs. I'll be happy to provide the details you need to move forward with your work with peace of mind.

To get started, have the report dimensions changed on all reports? For example, when I save a Balance Sheet on my QB account, the dimensions are 8.26 × 11.69 in (portrait). Also, I recommend checking the report orientation as the Portrait mode has different dimensions compared to Landscape mode. Another variable to take note of is the PDF producer and PDF version you're using. You can check this when you open the report in question > click on the Printer option 🖨️️> on the PDF screen click on the three dots to the right > select Document properties > here you'll be able to see more info pertaining to saving the report as a PDF.

Let me know if you have other questions. I'm here to help steer you in the right direction.
