Progress Invoicing Template

Hello,

My company has started to use QBO, and we have our own progress invoice template that we would like to use. Is there any way we can import this progress invoice template on QBO? I have heard through an estimate but unsure how.

Another method I was looking to use, is an integrated app to create the invoice and import the data to QBO. Would anyone know what app would be helpful in fully customizing a progress invoice?

Hi there mgf456,

It'd important that all your information is entered correctly on forms so that your customers know the services you're providing. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices to your customers so you can keep track of your sales. I can point you in the right direction to enter different form styles.

There once was a feature available in QuickBooks Labs, a section for features to test out, that could import custom form styles in a DOCX format, to be mapped. If your account was created before 29/06/2021, which is the time the feature was active for testing, you would still have the ability to use the tool to import custom form styles. If your account was created after that date, this isn't the case, but you could use the Gear icon to access the Custom form styles menu to make multiple different form styles for each step of the invoicing.

Once you've created multiple form styles, there isn't an ability to automatically apply a style for each step of invoicing. There is one default invoice template, but when creating an invoice, you can pivot to another style y clicking the Customize option in the bottom bar, then selecting the style you want to apply.
