Hi there mortarmanagement,

Having the ability to run and customize a variety of reports is one of the features that I know many of our customers come to rely on within QuickBooks Online. It makes getting a snapshot of your business and analyzing your profits a breeze. When something goes wrong and reports aren't displaying as expected, I can see how that might take time away from doing the things you love. I'll explain.

The problems you're experiencing today with the A/P Aging Summary and A/R Aging Summary are currently being worked on by our highly skilled team of engineers. This issue has been previously reported and we're working hard to ensure that it's resolved in a timely fashion. If you're interested in being added to the list of users affected by this issue so that you can receive notice when there's a fix, you're welcome to reach out to our support team outside of the Community. Some sensitive account details will be required that aren't safe to share in this public forum. In the meantime you shouldn't have any trouble exporting the report to Excel or PDF if you need to manipulate the data in the immediate future. There isn't a timeline for the fix so it's important that you're aware of this workaround.

Here's how to export a report:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu.
  2. Use the search function or scroll to find the report you're looking for.
  3. Look for the small icons located on the top right of the report after you've run it.
  4. Between the Print icon and Gear icon you'll see a document with an arrow.
  5. Select the small blue arrow next to the document icon to choose to Export to Excel or Export to PDF.
  6. Your report will begin to download and you can open it to view or manipulate the data as you see fit.
