Tag Journal Entries

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic cloud based software allowing you to work from anywhere and get your work done faster.  I can see how you'd benefit from having the ability to add tags to journal entries..  I'll be happy to provide more information to assist with your QuickBooks goals!

Tags are beneficial for tracking areas of your business to easily see how specific areas are doing.  They can be added to bills, expenses and invoices.  However, you can add classes to your journal entries to track product lines and other areas of your business to get a clear picture when running reports.  If you'd like to see the option to add tags to journal entries moving forward, you can submit a recommendation to our Development Team by going to the Gear in the top right of your QuickBooks account and then select Feedback.
