TFSA Interest EARNED - how to record?

Hello,

 

We have a TFSA account set up as a "rainy day fund" for our company - how do I record the interest accrued in this account as it is NOT a bank account so it can't be a bank deposit. How do I capture the interest earned on this account.

Making sure your financial information is entered and tracked properly is key to keeping your accounts accurate. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for this.

 

In order to properly enter the interest earned in your account I recommend reaching out to your accountant as they are trained in how to make these entries. If you don't have an accountant you can find one in your area by going to My Accountant>Find a pro to help.
