The dashboard sales number is different than the report sales number. Does anyone know why?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I'll be happy to explain why the sales numbers are different on the dashboard compared to the reports. 

First, it's important to note that no all sales transactions are included on the numbers you see on the dashboard. 

QBO only shows invoices and sales receipts to calculate the sales amount you see on your dashboard. Here's some of the info which isn't included:

• Sales Tax
• Journal Entries posted to a sales account
• Other income transactions such as bank deposits 

This explains why the data on your report is different from the data you see on your dashboard. Let me know if you have other questions. I'm here to help.
