Question

There is no Edit option in the actions dropdown on the budget screen. How do I find the edit option. I am admin. Is there a setting I need to make somewhere else?

I am trying to edit a budget, and the action items are not giving that option.

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Budgets is a great feature for planning and understanding your cash flow while growing your business.  I'd be happy to help!

 

Making changes to your budget can be done seamlessly by going to > Settings ⚙ > Budgeting > click on the ▼ dropdown menu and select > Edit.  However, as you've indicated, the Edit option doesn't appear.  I recommend clearing cache on your browser.  I'd also suggest trying another browser such as Google Chrome, Safar, Edge, Firefox, Private or Incognito.  If the issue persists, please contact us so we can review the unexpected behavior further from our end.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
