If you haven't done so already, I suggest clearing cache on your browser.  I also recommend trying another browser such as Firefox, Safar, Edge or Google Chrome.

Follow these steps to open the report for the last fiscal year;

1. From the left menu, open Reports

2. Enter Transaction Detail by Account, in the Search field

3. Change to Classic View

4. Use the ▼ dropdown menu to select Last Fiscal Year, in the Report Period field

5. Hit Run report

If the Transaction Detail by Account report in QuickBooks Desktop is not showing transactions from the last fiscal year, consider the following steps:

  1. Check Date Range:

    • Ensure that you’ve selected the correct date range for the report.
    • Go to the report settings and choose “This Fiscal Year” or “Last Fiscal Year” as the report period.
  2. Verify Transaction Types:

    • Confirm that the transactions you’re looking for fall within the specified date range.
    • The report displays details for both debits and credits, so check if they are included.
  3. Export to Excel:

    • If you still can’t see the desired details, export the report data to Excel.
    • Manually review and filter transactions to find those from the last fiscal year
  4. Bank Transactions:

    • Sometimes, banks limit transaction downloads to the last 90 days.
    • Check your bank’s website for any scheduled maintenance or updates that might affect transaction retrieval.
    • Alternatively, manually upload missing transactions using a CSV file.
