Transaction journal entry account is wrong

Hello,

 

Whenever i check some of my transaction journal entries I see that the AP credit goes to a wrong AP account.

 

How can I change that to the correct AP account.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the QuickBooks Community. I hope your day is going great. 

 

You can certainly open the journal entry that is incorrect and edit any of the details within it. Let me show you how you can do this below. 

 

  1. Select Settings and then Chart of accounts.
  2. Find the account you created the journal entry for. Then click on View register.
  3. Find the journal entry in the account register. The word "Journal" should be in the Ref No. or Type column.
  4. Choose the journal entry to expand the view. Then tap on Edit.
