Question

When I am in the financial statements I am not able to go in and see the various expenses that brought it to that value. I do have a blue line but I can't "go in it".

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome!  QuickBooks Online provides options for completing your daily goals.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

To review your expenses, you can run a customized report.  Here's how;

1. Open Reports from the left menu

2. In the Search field, enter Expenses by Supplier Summary

3. Hit Customize

4. Choose the desired Report Period

5. Click on Filter

6. Select the desired fields and hit Run Report

 

Follow these steps to view the expensed in your Chart of Accounts; 

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Chart of Accounts

2. Hit Account History to the right of the desired account

3. Open the Filter

4. Enter Expenses in the Transaction Type field

5. Set the Payee to All

6. Enter the Date Range and hit Apply
