When I enter my expenses do I also have to enter my General Journal entries as well or will it post that automatically

Hi there,

 

Keeping your books clean is a priority for any business and I'm glad you're taking necessary steps to make sure you're entering your expenses correctly. The good thing about using QuickBooks is the program automatically does most of the work for you. This saves you plenty of time to catch up on the things you value the most. 

 

When you enter expenses using the methods described in this article: Enter, edit, or delete expenses in QuickBooks Online, you won't have to enter any other journal entries which may cause duplicate entries. If you have a different way of entering expenses I highly recommend verifying with an accountant to make sure everything is accurate. If you're not in contact with one I suggest searching for one on our site.
