Why can’t I add vehicle expenses?

Hello, 

 

Adding a vehicle expense in QuickBooks Online is a great way to keep track of those big purchases! I'd be happy to help you record this expense in the system. 

 

You can add a vehicle expense by following these steps:

 

1. Click the Create (+) icon at the top of the page. 

2. Select Expense.

3. Enter your Payee, and other necessary information including the Payment account and Payment method

4. Select a category. If you don't see a suitable category, you can click + Add New

5. Once all other information has been entered, click Save and Close

 

If you're running into issues creating your expense, try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. These are the stored Internet files that can build up over time and bog you down.
