Why do I have the word deleted beside some of my chart of accounts How can i fix this, there are amounts in there

Hi Dlmm324,

 

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online has everything you need to keep your records accurate from anywhere.  It's essential that your bank accounts are active and balanced with your financial institution.  I'll be happy to assist!

 

Based on the information you've provided, there's a couple of things to look at.  If the bank has been disconnected from QuickBooks, or if the account has been made inactive in your chart of accounts. 

 

If the account was disconnected you'll need to link it to QuickBooks by following these steps:

 

1. From the left menu, open Transactions and then Banking

2. Click on Link account

3. Search for your bank and hit Continue

4. Follow the onscreen steps to connect

 

Here's how to make an account active in the chart of accounts:

 

1. Go the Settings ⚙ in the top right and select Chart of accounts

2. Open the small Gear icon above the Action column and select Include inactive

3. Locate the account and hit Make active
