Can I change the submission date on a VAT return in QB Irish Version. The option is available in the UK version

The option to customize the VAT return submission date is not available in QBO Ireland version. You'll want to customise the date of your VAT return outside QuickBooks.

Do this by logging in to your VAT online account and request the change. If you're not confident in doing this by yourself, you may ask for assistance from your accountant.

In case you want to review the details of your VAT, you can run the VAT report and customise base on your need.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Hamburger icon and select the Taxes tab.
2. Click the View Reports button and choose a report to pull up.
3. On the VAT report’s page, click the Customise button.
4. Under the Report period to Custom, then enter the dates.
5. Verify the details and hit Run report.
