Can I import bills which are out of tax scope and tax code is shown as exempt.QB show error of tax code mismatching

In my case no sales tax is involved and I have set company profile as out of tax scope

Yes, you can import bills with tax exemption. Please be informed that the system uses particular fields to import them successfully.

Before uploading the bills, make sure you already have your supplier list and Chart of Accounts. It’s important as bills will have information that is related to your supplier list and accounts.

What we'll do is review the data entered within QuickBooks and the line tax code mapped in your CSV file. Make sure the details are matched. You can generate an import guide and download a CSV file sample. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Import data. Select Bills.
  3. Click the import guide link and Download an example link.
