Cannot create credit note beyond 90 days from invoice

Hi,

 

The GST rules allow credit notes against invoices till September of next financial year. I cannot create credit notes beyond 90 days from the date of invoice. 

 

Please let me know why such restriction and how to rectify this limitation?

Hi,

 

Quickbooks does not allow creating credit notes beyond 90 days from the date of invoice whereas the GST law/ Government directions permit credit notes till the month of September of next financial year. 

 

The restriction with regard to credit note in Quickbooks is not matching with Government directions.
