I'm a developer building for QBO Europe. I'm excited to share that I'm working on an app for QBO Europe users that simplifies creating Excel reports for VAT collected or paid per business/country, particularly to assist in filing VAT returns in accordance with EU law.

I've observed that many businesses using QBO find tracking and reporting VAT a complex task, especially when it comes to adhering to the specific requirements of EU VAT law. My app is designed to address these challenges, but to make it as effective as possible, I need your insights!

Do you encounter difficulties with VAT reporting in QBO, especially when preparing for VAT returns? What specific challenges do you face, and what features do you think are missing in the current QBO Europe version?

Thank you for sharing the Intuit Developer forum - I will definitely check it out. I posted it here because I was wondering if there are any more Quickbooks online users in Europe struggling with VAT reporting besides the few businesses I'm talking to.
