Hi there, @prasanna.

I'm here to ensure you're able to get the GSTR1 report in Jason format in QuickBooks Online.

If you're getting these errors below, please follow the troubleshooting steps to confine the issue.

  • Invalid company GSTIN
  • Company GSTIN is not present- you can check the number in the GST REG-06, then enter it into the system.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Taxes, then hit the GST button in the Tax drop-down.
  2. Click Edit GST, then Edit Settings.
  3. Type your GSTIN and tap Save.

  • Invalid Customer GSTIN in Section 4 - provide the correct GSTIN and should be capitalized. Please follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Sales tab, and choose Customers.
  2. Locate and click the customer.
  3. Hit Edit then updates the GSTIN and click Save.

  • HSN missing in section 12

Her's how:

  1. Choose the Sales tab, then select Product and Sevices
  2. Find the item, then click Edit
  3. Re-type the code and hit Save

  • Invoice Number missing in section 4, 5 and 6
  • Invoice number exceeding 16 character in section 4,5,6 and 13
  • Invoice number contains a special character in section 4, 5, 6 and 13
  • Place of supply missing in section 4, 5 and 7
  • Description exceeds 30 character in section 12
