Hi how do I create farming products that I grow like vegetables and different animals

Hello there, @loch-gardens-iwa.

 

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for your concern with tracking your poultry and livestock business.

 

QuickBooks Online allows you to add products and services that will keep track of the items you sell. It also gives you the option to track your inventory items to record what's on hand, get alerts when it’s time to restock and see insights on what you buy and sell. 

 

To set these items:

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select the Products and services tab.
  2. Select on New
  3. Hit on Non-inventory, Inventory, or Service.  
  4. Add a name. From the Category ▼ drop-down, select the category that best describes your product or service. 
  5. Select the I sell this product/service to my customers checkbox. If you don't sell the item, you can leave it unchecked.
  6. In the Sales information section, enter a description. This is what your customers will see on their sales form.
  7. Enter an amount in the Sales price/rate field, then select the Income account ▼ drop-down and the account you want to use to track the sale.
  8. If you need to track sales tax, select Taxable - standard rate from the Sales tax category ▼ drop-down. 
  9. When you're done, select Save and Close
