How can I delete a Tag group?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Netpro. I'd like to provide additional information about deleting tag groups in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

     
    First, I'd like to inform you that there are two types of tags in QBO: Tag groups and Tags. Once you've created a Tag group in your account, the option to delete it is unavailable.
     
    I recommend sending feedback to our product developers about your request to have the option to delete the Tag group in QBO. This way, our product engineers can consider adding this feature in future updates.
     
    Here's how:
     

    1. Sign in to your QBO account.
    2. Click the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
    3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
    4. Press Next.

     
    Once you complete it, our designated team will review it. You can track your future requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
     
    In the meantime, you can edit the Tag groups and rename them to indicate that the tags are deleted.
     
    Here's how:
     

    1. Go to the Gear icon, then select All lists.
    2. Select Tags and locate the tags you want to delete. Please note that once you delete a tag, it will automatically delete the assigned transactions in QBO.
    3. Locate the Tag groups you want to edit, then click Edit group.

     
    Additionally, you can easily customize your sales forms in QBO to make your forms reflect your business identity.
