I’ve got you covered, Malou.


In QuickBooks Online, you can use the Class Tracking or Location Tracking feature to track sales commissions.


Here are the steps to turn on the features:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then choose Account and Settings.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab from the left navigation menu.
  3. Click the Pencil icon next to Categories.
  4. Toggle the button for Track classes or Track locations.
  5. Press Save.


After, you can create a class or location list. Just select the Gear icon > All Lists and then click Classes or Locations.


Once done, you can now add your team to either a Class or a Location to record their sales individually. QuickBooks automatically add fields for class and location when creating transactions. Just select the person associated with that transaction.
