The option to unfile a submitted VAT return within the program is currently unavailable. To ensure the accuracy of your records, we take care of this process for you.


That said, I recommend you get in touch with our QBO Care Team for further assistance. Make sure to provide the following information to perform the process easily:

 

  • QuickBooks Online Company ID.
  • The tax filing period you wish to unfile.

 

Here’s how to obtain your company ID:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Account and settings.
  2. Tap the Billing and subscription menu on the left panel.
  3. This will open a screen where you’ll see the subscription details.
  4. Navigate to the Company ID section to get the number.
