Thank you for sharing your concerns with us in the Community forum, and we appreciate your effort in reaching out and providing details about your situation, Zubaidah. It sounds like you have a unique setup with your central kitchen and two outlets in the Food and Beverage industry, and we completely understand the importance of managing your internaltransactions. Let me provide some details to help you find the best solution tailored to your needs.

While the program doesn't have a direct option to handle internal sales transfers from the central kitchen to the outlets, you may consider utilizing the class tracking feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for each location (the central kitchen and the two outlets).

If you're on QBO Plus and Advanced versions, this feature allows you to categorise transactions based on the source and destination, helping you track internal transactions seamlessly.

Here's how you can turn on this setting:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then choose Account and Settings
  2. Select Advanced, then click the Categories section to edit.
  3. Turn on the Track classes switch.
  4. Tick the Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class box.
  5. Choose an option in the Assign classes dropdown.
  6. Hit Save, then Done.

Refer to this resource for the complete process: Turn on class tracking in QuickBooks Online.

After that, create classes that represent the different parts of your business (e.g., Kitchen, Outlet 1, Outlet 2). Then, you can tag a class to a transaction to get a clear picture of your profitability by business segment.
