I cant set up purchases taxes in QuickBooks Online

A client of mine created QuickBooks online by himself and initial set up. I want to add purchase taxes, but there is no option for me to add those. It only allows me to add sales taxes. 

 

I need urgently to fix this. What do I need to do?

Hello, Angela888. 

 

Setting up taxes in Purchases, you need to make sure to set up the tax first. Here's how:

 

  1. Click Taxes on the left pane.
  2. Select Set up tax.
  3. Set up the necessary details ,then select Next.
  4. Follow the steps to finish and select Done

 

You'll see a Tax/GST column on your sales and purchases forms.
