Question

I created 2 VAT rates for purchasing items but I couldn't see when I go to the Edit Rates page. I want to delete and add some purchase VAT rates but I only see sales VAT

Welcome aboard to the Community, @serdar.karadayi.

We want to lend a hand with your concern about deleting and adding purchase VAT rates. However, we need to know more about it to provide the right resolution and to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Can you share with us how you create them in QuickBooks? Any details you can add to your response will help ensure a timely solution on this.

For now, I suggest checking your inactive VAT rates in the account. It may be possible that those rates were disabled already.

Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, go to Taxes.
  2. Select VAT.
  3. Click the Edit VAT drop-down, then choose Edit rates.
  4. Press the small cogwheel icon above the Action column.
  5. Put a checkmark beside Include inactive

Also, you can use the Audit log feature to keep track of any activities. You'll be able to see who made changes to your books and what they did.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Go to Gear icon and select Audit Log.
  2. Select Filter.
  3. Use the fields on the Filter panel to
  4. choose the appropriate UserDate, or Events filter to narrow the results.
  5. Select Apply.

Additionally, here are some helpful references that you can check out about how to get rid of a VAT rate, as well as the setup process:
