Hi there, @cypherfinance.

Thanks for sharing your first concern with us in the Community. I understand the urgency to correct your file VAT.

We'll have to undo the filed tax return to process a correction. Since this requires pulling up your data to open the VAT return, I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team to ensure the security of your information.

While they can perform the process in a safe environment, ensure to provide the following information to them:

  • QuickBooks Online Company ID.
  • Which tax filing period you'd wished to unfile.

You'll want to check out this article for more details about this process: How to unfile VAT/GST.

Here’s how to contact us:

  1. Click the Assistant icon to open the QB Assistant window.
  2. Enter the issue "Unfile VAT" in the field box.
  3. Click the Contact Support Team menu.
  4. Select Start a chat.
  5. Enter your contact information.

For additional resources, check out this link: Tax for QBO. It contains helpful topics about filing and paying taxes and managing VAT rates.

Get back to me if you have an additional question. I’ll be around to answer. Have a great day ahead.
