It's easy to set up sales taxes in QuickBooks Online. Let me help you.

Depends on which country, sales taxes are already set up by default. All you need to do is update the details such as VAT registration number and accounting method.

You may follow these steps:

1. Go to the Taxes menu and select Set up tax.
2. Enter or select the required info.
3. Select Next or OK.

If your rate is not listed on the suggested tax rates, you have an option to create a custom rate. From the Taxes menu, simply click Add tax and choose the type of tax you want to add.
