Tax Set up

I cannot get the IVA Tax at 21% to register.  I put in all the details and it says its set up but then when I go to Tax on the left hand side it just asks me to set it up and does not go to the Tax Centre.  What am I doing wrong.

Thanks for coming to the Community for your tax set-up concern, @JCJ2.

 

By default, QuickBooks supports the following rates for VAT, Service Tax and CST:

 

VAT:

14% on both Purchase and Sales Transactions

4% on both Purchase and Sales Transactions

5% on both Purchase and Sales Transactions

 

Service Tax

 

12.36% on both Purchase and Sales Transactions

 

CST

2% on Sales Transactions

 

However, you can add custom tax rates through the New Tax button. Check out this article for more detailed steps: Create Custom Tax Rate.
