Welcome to the Community, @ealfardan.

You've got me here to help you fix the missing tax lines in QuickBooks Online and get you back on track.

To begin with, I'd like to know if you've received any error messages and what is the specific transaction you are trying to create. Any additional details on this matter are much appreciated.

For now, to isolate this hurdle, I recommend accessing your account on a private window and process your transactions from there.

Web-based platforms like QBO gathers cache files (cookies) to save you time when loading repetitive data and images. These files can often become outdated or corrupted, causing issues like the one you've experienced.

You can open a Private Window in all supported browsers using the corresponding keyboard shortcut below:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If everything is working fine, you can now go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This eliminates unnecessary cache files and refreshes your data.

Lastly, you can always utilize this link to give you more information about the browsers that work best in QuickBook Online: Find out what computer and browser you need for the best QuickBooks experience.

Please get back to me if you're referring to something else or if there's anything else that you need. I'll be right here to assist you. Have a good one!
