Thanks for using QuickBooks Online in recording your income, tariq_taimoor-ho. I know how important it is to track everything in the program. I'm here to help you with that.

Before proceeding, may I know how did you receive your income? This way, we'll be able to provide accurate steps to enter the transaction in the program.

We can track your income as sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

  1. Go to the + New icon and then select Sales receipt.
  2. Choose a customer from the Customer drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the necessary info.
  4. Click Save and close.

Then, let's deposit the amount to increase your income account. I'll show you how:

  1. From the + New menu, choose Bank Deposit.
  2. Choose the income account to deposit funds.
  3. Select the transaction you want to deposit in the Select Existing Payments section.
  4. In the Add new deposits table, add any additional details.
  5. Once done, click on Save and Close.

If you haven't created an income account, I'd suggest checking out this article for the detailed steps: Add an Account.

Additionally, I've included an article that'll help you track your profits in QuickBooks Online. This keeps your record accurate: Run Financial Reports.

Please let us know if you need additional assistance in tracking your income in QuickBooks, tariq_taimoor-ho. It's always my pleasure to help you out again.
