VAT report and payment

Hello there, 

 

I added a new type of VAT (5% rate), and after I recorded the transactions, I can't find this type of VAT in my tax reports. 

Don't know what I'm doing wrong, can you help, please.

I'd like to help you find the tax rate. May I know what specific report are you using? In this sample screenshot that I'm sharing with you, I've added a VAT rate and created a transaction. Then, open the VAT Detail report, and I was able to find the rate. 

 

 

If you've opened the VAT Liability or VAT Detail report and still not able to find the rate, make sure to select the Report period and Accounting method.

 

Otherwise, let's do some troubleshooting steps to rule out any browser-related issues.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open a private browser or incognito mode, and log in to your QuickBooks Online account. Private browser doesn't store cache.
  2. Run a VAT report. If you see the VAT rate that you've created, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache.
  3. Alternatively, try using other supported browsers.
