We submit the GST return every two months. How can we set it up on QuickBooks?

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), the available filing schedule are Monthly, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Yearly. Since you're submitting the return every two months, you'll want to manually track it for now.

 

When the time comes that you're ready to submit or file myour GST return, you can follow the steps below:

  1. To access the Tax centre, from the left menu select Taxes; then select Prepare Return.
  2. Make sure the date range matches the filing period for which you're filing.
  3. Check all amounts are correct and click Mark as Filed.
  4. Print a copy of the tax return and go to your tax office to submit your tax return.
