Can i add an additional tax to an existing sales tax group?

Hello, 

 

QuickBooks Online allows you enter different sales tax rates depending on your needs. You can add Provincial, Custom, or Group tax rates that help you properly record your sales and purchases. If you'd like to include an additional tax rate to a group tax code in your account, you'll have to create an entirely new tax code. I'd be happy to help explain how to do this. 

 

To enter a new group tax code, click Taxes on the left navigation menu, select Sales Tax, then click Add New. Next click Add next to the Group tax section. From here, you can create your new group tax. 

 

If you need to remove the old group tax from your account, simply click Make inactive from the tax center.
