Question

Can I update the sales tax code on a group of inventory items at the same time?I have an inventory with several hundred items. Not all have GST automatically added.

Welcome back to the Community. I'd be glad to answer your question about updating your sales tax codes in bulk. 

 

You'll have to manually update the tax codes one-by-one for now. I know how beneficial it would be for you to have the option to bulk edit the tax codes. I encourage you to send this as feedback over to our engineers. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback.

Seems to me that Intuit either does not monitor the feedback or simply doesn't care. This request has come up again and again. Blows my mind why a simple edit function cannot be added to Manage Taxes specifically Group Taxes. You can't even rename them or make any changes. Deactivating and creating a new one just doesn't cut it. 

Intuit and QBO gets a Dissatisfied for Customer Experience from me, not very proactive. Also try to speak to a supervisor, do they even have supervisors.....
