Changing non-taxable to taxable

Hi,

 

How can I make a tax that was "non-taxable" that should have been marked "taxable" and has about 1500 transactions on it already?

Which transaction type (e.g Invoice, Sales Receipt)? You may need a 3rd party tool to do so.

We put the tax code on our invoices and credits for vendors as well. Any way intuit can edit the source code of the file to edit it ?

You can export the data out to XLS, modify  them, and reimport back into the company file.
