I have some PST commission adjustments and PST tax due on sales amounts in the chequing account however they also appear in the PST payable account so I don't know which account I should be using for a journal entry to correct it.

Hi lianne@blackdiam,

Having your PST commission adjustments and PST due on sales recorded to the appropriate account is essential to ensure you can reconcile without complication or errors.  In QuickBooks Online, you'd select the category when recording the adjustment or PST commission.  In this situation, I'd recommend reaching out to your accountant for expert advice with regards to your journal entry and which accounts to apply.  If you don't have an accountant we can help you locate a ProAdvisor in your area.

If you have any additional questions, please reach back out.  We're happy to help!
