Employer address in T4

I have changed the company address in November but on the T4 year-end forms, the old address is still displayed. Why is the new address not being used by the software and how to correct it?

To make sure the correct company address is displayed in the employees T4 slips, update the Company General Tax Information. This is where you need to make changes for your tax filing settings. Don't worry, I'll show you he steps on how it is done.

 

  1. Click the gear icon on the top-right section of your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select Payroll Settings.
  3. Under Taxes, choose General Tax Information.
  4. Review if the new address is there. Update the Filing Address if the old address is still displayed there.
  5. Press OK when done. The address will then populate in the T4 slip.
