File sale tax error: transaction not in balance

Hello, 

when i hit 'File my sales tax' and i want to 'file my return' i get this error which prevent me from completing this task. i check my trial balance on different period and everything is fine. i don't see where the error is coming from. Please can someone help me to solve this. 

i am using QB Desktop Premier 2021.

QuickBooks Desktop makes tracking and filing your sales tax a cinch so you can save time and effort. I'd be happy to help you with getting rid of this error message.

 

When errors like this pop up there's generally two reasons for it. One such reason would be due to the information not being entered correctly and the second is data damage. If this is happening due to data damage I recommend following the steps in this article on how to correct it. If after trying all the steps and you're still getting that error I recommend reaching out to your accountant as they are trained to see if there is any errors entered into your sales tax.
